301a3d4b27 Changed the serial::PortDescription struct. 
- Renamed to PortInfo.

- "friendly_name" field is now "description".

cfac5bbcc9 use static casts rather than C-style casting 
C-style casting can result in undesired reinterpret_casts
So we should avoid them, see:
